REPORTS TO: Account Executive, Account Director, Digital Strategy Manager
SUMMARY: Tra-digital advertising and marketing boutique agency in Dallas is seeking a well-rounded entrepreneurial Social Media Specialist for a full-time position. This person must be able to provide strategic thinking and excellent client service all while having fun! Experience working in the social media field is a must. The qualified candidate will be responsible for organizing and implementing social media strategies, content management, analyzing digital channel activity, defining case studies, creating client performance reports, and managing social media campaigns. Clients may vary over time but primarily include shopping centers across the country.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as an extension of the account services team by communicating directly with clients while managing their digital channels
Maintain solid relationships with clients by providing creative and strategic thinking, excellent customer service, and attention to detail
Maintain regular client contact by proactively updating clients on status of projects, running bi-weekly status calls, and presenting performance reports
Develop and execute digital marketing calendar for clients including social media and email content
Work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
Managing portfolio of social media accounts and engaging with online audiences through direct messages comments, check-in, etc., both reactively and proactively, to promote the account on social channels
Maintain a deep knowledge of social media channels and related tools/apps
Maintain a deep knowledge of paid advertising on social media channels, successfully working within Ads Manager for Facebook and Instagram
Identify and communicate new trends and industry best-practices internally and with the client
Implement strategies and tactics to meet client objectives (such as increasing reach and engagement)
Assist with creative development process to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Brief creative teams and other freelancers (e.g., influencers) to execute creative campaigns and deliver engaging social media content
Liaison with production and creative department for job requests and revisions as needed
Coordinate schedules and deadlines
Manage master timelines
Meeting/pitch preparation and attendance as needed
Partner with team to ensure digital media plans are seamlessly integrated with the rest of the marketing plans
Regularly creating ROI and performance reports for clients (frequency TBD)
Partner with copywriter(s) to develop high-quality, timely content
Regularly creating case studies showing social media promotion strategies and projected returns
Train clients on digital media and best practices (E.g., via webinars, bi-monthly blog posts, status calls)
Answering client trouble-shooting questions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant degree
Must have strong time- and people-management skills
Working knowledge of the social media industry including channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Foursquare, YouTube, Tumblr, Snapchat etc.
Passion for growing social media channels and implementing new strategies based on algorithm changes and new digital media trends
Superb communication and grammatical skills
Ability to scale in a rapidly evolving work environment
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent logic, reasoning skills, and savvy marketing abilities
Positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and work-hard/play-hard mentality
