REPORTS TO: Account Director

SUMMARY: Tra-digital advertising and marketing boutique in downtown Dallas is seeking an Account Supervisor to manage and lead the agency’s day-to-day relationship with key client contacts.  This person must be able to focus the efforts of agency personnel so that projects are completed on time and within budget. Retail or real estate experience is not necessary but a plus.  Digital media and social media experience/knowledge is preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Account Supervisor on several existing accounts and a steady stream of project work 

  • Operate as a senior client contact, leading strategic and tactical planning activities

  • Keep existing relationships with clients steady by providing creative and strategic thinking, excellent customer service and attention to detail, and developing new business opportunities

  • Provide thought leadership and help drive innovative solutions for client needs

  • Maintain regular client contact by proactively updating clients and managing overall expectations

  • Demonstrate the fiscal acumen to lead profitable accounts

  • Manage account executives/coordinators, social media team members, and freelance personnel as required

  • Assist with the growth and development of account and social media team

  • Review all account deliverables to ensure product is on strategy and client feedback/expectations are in alignment with project goals

  • Collaborate with clients to fully understand their business and campaign objectives

  • Develop and execute marketing plans, new business pitches, and new ideas for existing clients

  • Oversee client projects from conception to final execution

  • Consistently and proactively learn about marketing strategies/tactics and keep the agency and our clients abreast of the latest marketing trends

  • Generate ideas for how new and existing marketing strategies/tactics can be implemented for our clients and ourselves 

  • Lead brainstorms that generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the clients’ objectives 

  • Prepare accurate and timely internal communication (creative briefs, media requests, timelines and estimates) and external communication (POVs, reports/recaps, timelines, estimates and status docs)

  • Brief creative teams and other freelancers to execute creative projects and campaigns

  • Work and collaborate well in a team atmosphere with little oversight

  • Guide creative development process to ensure creative is delivered on strategy, on time and on budget

    • Work efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines

    • Create and manage timelines within the agency project management system

    • Liaise with production and creative departments for job requests and revisions

    • Oversee budgets, draft estimates and manage all project billing

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Must have strong management and prioritization skills (A.S. will be managing clients, account service/social media staff members and multiple projects at one time)

  • Must have strong presentation skills (A.S. will be regularly pitching and presenting, formally and informally, internally and externally)

  • Must be passionate about marketing and keeping on top of industry trends

  • Must be proficient in managing billing and detailed budgets for clients

  • Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

  • Must possess project management software skills and experience 

  • Prior agency experience is a plus

Salary based on experience; health and dental insurance, 401k, vacation, sick leave and generous holiday schedules.

This is a hybrid position. Employees will mostly work from home but are asked to go into the Dallas office in-person a minimum of once a week.

Additional meetings in-person and/or travel will be scheduled as needed as part of the regular course of business, including but not limited to things such as photoshoots, conferences, creative brainstorms, and/or client presentations. 

Synchronous working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm CST unless otherwise arranged in advance with management.
